Our team is composed of:

1.    Prof. Dr. Patrice Intiomale Mbonino – Managing Director

He holds a PhD in Sciences from the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium (1983) and has acquired significant experience in the geology and earth sciences fields since 1969. At the Gecamine, the Congolese state-owned company, he has developed and rise to the level of Director in charge of all geological and mapping activities for the company.
Since 1979, he was in charge of the selection and training of all geology personnel. He also was responsible for mining stability of underground and open pit operations in the Katanga.
From 1997 to 2003, he was advisor to the Minister of Mines and Geology and to other Ministries (Mines, Strategic Development Areas, as well as Reconstruction). He was involved in defining the exclusive 432 prospective zones in the DRC. The above work led to the drafting of new mining legislations in the DRC whereby the mining concession shall be of 20,000 km2 maximum per company.

Prof. Dr. Intiomale was given further responsibilities as Technical Director of the DRC Mining Cadastre (Cadastre Minier, CAMI) in charge of registering all mining rights, the post he held from 2004 to 2006.
Throughout his curriculum and professorship, starting in 1984, with various local universities, he has trained student in Mineralogy and Gitology of the DRC, Geologic Control of Mining Exploitations, Mining Projects, Researches and Hydrogeology.

Prof. Dr. Intiomale has wrote various research articles, studies and developed new explorations studies such as the Sediment Hosted Zn-Pb-Cu Deposits in The Central African Copperbelt, The Fe-Ti GeoThermometry, IGECO Density and Graph Process, among many others.

2.    Mr. Sean Julien Mbonino Intiomale – Head of Communications

After graduating with a Business Administration in Management degree in 2007, from the Canterbury University in Ireland, then taking further studies in Customer Relationship Management and a Paralegal training in South Africa, Mr. Intiomale has developed and acquired experience from being an enthusiastic entrepreneur, building several small businesses from scratch to working with successful going concerns and assisting businesses with project management and other professional services in the customer services, trading, management consulting and marketing industry.
Mr. Intiomale has started his career in the mining industry after joining forces with IGECO and being appointed as Head of Communications. The position he holds and that has led to his numerous excursions in both mine lands and farms in the DRC. He is presently acting as Managing Director of MONSCORP CC and is member of the Cape Town Chamber of Commerce.

3.    Mr. Mpoyi Kabambi – Project Manager and Coordinator

He holds a BSc in Geology and Mineralogy from the University of Lubumbashi, 1980. He has worked at various mining companies and participated in numerous prospection and mining projects in the Geological and Mineral Researches Centre (Centre de Recherches Geologiques et Minieres, CRGM) and still involved in projects with the latest.

4.    Mr. Osal Amve – Mapping Specialist

He is a Survey Engineer, holding a BSc from the Building and Public Works Institute (Institut des Batiments et des Travaux Publics, IBTP), 1983. Mr. Amve is currently a Lecturer at the above institute and has acquired extensive experience in industrial drawing and mapping.

5.    Mr. Kiangani Sisa – Project Manager

Holding a BSc in Geology and Mineralogy, with a major in Applied Geology in 2001, Mr. Sisa has participated in various mining and hydro-geological projects in the DRC.

6.    Mr. Hyppolite Mbinga – Secretary

Graduating at the National Arts Institute and holding an IT Degree in Management, Mr. Mbinga is an experienced Data Capturer and Database Administrator familiar with business software, and is in charge of archives.
 
7.    Prospecting Team

IGECO prospecting team comprise geologists and other experts involved in the technical and analytical support of our clients. Trainee, graduates, independent contractors and employees from different mining companies, who we like to include in this category.

With Prof. Dr. Intiomale’s experience in training geological personnel for the Gecamines in the Katanga, the many geologists under his wings have had opportunities to be transferred back to their respective companies or received offers from different entities for possible placement, thus earning him a great admiration from companies and industry peers.
